Ene Meco

ECE PhD Candidate · University of Illinois Chicago

I recently started the ECE PhD program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (Spring 2026). I am a Graduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University under Prof. Ermin Wei, working on Game Theory & Agents, and at UIC under Prof. A. Enis Cetin on Wildfire Spread Prediction using U-Nets.

Previously a software engineer at Abissnet (AI agents, RAG pipelines) and a research intern at the Observatoire de Paris | PSL on spectral analysis for astrophysical signal detection on FPGA. BSc from Sorbonne Université (19.04/20) with an exchange year at the University of Chicago (4.0 GPA).
